juldeaWell, I'm here, safe and sound (or as safe and sound as I can be in the company of the Department) :)
The drive was... a lot of driving. I made it to Flagstaff at 1am on Saturday night. I went through a bit of snow on the way, but nothing to hinder driving (just enough to make me nervous). Woke up at 9, and managed to be back on my way at 10:30ish. Made it here right at 8:30, just like I had predicted in Bakersfield. CA highway 99 is really fun :)
So far I've already been subjected to the movie Psycho Beach Party. Fear it, but love it.
I guess that's really all I have to say so far. Need to call my mom and Jason... Happy.
There was a point while driving where I really did forget that I had any life other than driving to California. I even forgot the cats. It was... calming.
The lady at the Cingular wireless booth in Norman charged me twice for my phone accessory kit, I just found out, so some of my gas purchases are going to go over my credit limit. Argh. Better call the bank now.
After I check email ;)
Oh, yeah... all of Troy's cats are huge :)
