Just ate a whole bucketload of fettucini. The sauce was from Goldbug, so it was all sentimental 'n' stuff.

So I was at work today while Goldbug flew away. Part of me wanted to skip out and go see her, but the other part knew that I wouldn't have any credibility in my quest to make people work when they say they will if -I- didn't follow my own demands. So I stayed at work. At least I sent her a present along with Karen. If someone had had a cell phone, I would have called as well.

So I want to rant a bit about my mall trip yesterday. It all started when I got a coupon for a free pair of Victoria's Secret underwear (I don't use that "p" word for what I put on under my pants). I fall for it and go to the mall. I get my pair of free underwear (woo) and also fall for the "free bra sizing" promotion. Turns out I'm a 36C(left cup)/D(right cup). Yeah, I'm officially lopsided. So of course to make sure we got the right size, I had to try on a few different bras. Ended up finding one I really liked, but I'm not stupid enough to pay $40 for a bra. I'll wait until the clearance catalog comes out :) Btw, the underwear would have cost $12.

So I'm at the mall, and I -do- have spending money and a little free time. I decide to see what the mall has to offer for me. I go to one end and start entering interesting and not-too-expensive looking stores. One of the first ones I entered was Rue 21, advertising a halter top sale. I immediately spotted a lavender-and-lime-green striped top. For those of you who don't know, purple and green are my favorite colors. So that was in the bag. Then, I found the CLEARANCE RACK. Amazing purple dress (ask anyone who saw it on Monday) for $5. I'm a master.

Wet Seal didn't have anything to offer, but Hot Topic not only featured a guy I once flirted with at band camp wearing a "Let's get one thing straight -- I'm not" shirt, but the black-mesh-with-silver-stars shirt I've been eyeing for a while also on clearance. So I got that, too.

The only other item on my must-have list was a lime green scrunchie, but neither Gadzooks or Claire's or any other place featured it. Everyone keep their eyes out; I'll pay you back if you find me one. Lime green.

I'm sure you all wanted to hear about my shopping exploits. I just feel like such a badass for finding good deals.

Speaking of good deals, Randen and I are going to take my car full of give-away stuff to Goodwill tonight. I'll finally have a near-empty spare room. Any suggestions on how to use it?

Time to go let the fettucini settle and see what time Buffy comes on. I haven't seen it in about 2 seasons, but maybe if I tape it and read up on episodes tonight, I'll be able to watch it without being lost. :)

If I had an extra room the first thing I'd do is set my computer up in it. Knowing that, unlike me, you don't need a seperate room for your computer we're on to my second idea. Turn it into your own privite dungeon. Those are always fun. *innocent puppy dog eyes look*

Actually, the plan now is to ask my grandmother to give me my parents' piano. It was going to live with me wherever I end up anyway, so now that I have room for it...

Do you eat Goldbug's sauce often? Is this something we could market? I'm sure we could sell it on a website along with her porn pics. Wouldn't she get tired and need lots of liquids while making her sauce if we did market it?

personally i think i'd rather have soup made of chickens or carrots or even avocadoes than of goldbug. she's wonderful, and i'd like to keep her alive and not cooked. not dinner. (nick's appetites do run a bit wild...)

living with nick, i find it necessary to take eveything said to me in the least offensive/crude/sexual/disgusting manner. that way everything balances out.
