I just found out about this about 45 minutes ago. I am entranced... and think I really want to go for it. However, I would prefer a known roommate to the roommate lottery (and prices are all per two person room.)

Our ports of call are historic Catalina Island and exotic Ensenada, Mexico, plus a full day at sea jam-packed with knitting classes.

MONDAY - Ship sails from Long Beach at 5:30pm
TUESDAY - Arrive Catalina 8:00am, departing 5:00pm
WEDNESDAY - Arrive Ensenada 9:00am, departing 10:00p
THURSDAY - Knit 'Til You Drop Day at Sea
FRIDAY - Ship arrives back in Long Beach at 8:00am

INSIDE CABIN (no window) from $704 per person
OUTSIDE CABIN (window) from $804 per person
BALCONY CABIN (deck 12) from $1214 per person

Price is per person based on two people sharing a cabin and includes all knitting events, current taxes, port charges, ship fees, gratuities, and travel insurance. Special single, triple, and quad cabin pricing and non-knitting package are available upon request. Airfare and transportation to pier, passport costs, and portside activities are not included.

damn i wish i could, but i am goign to london a week after that. hwoever, jetblue flies to long beach from boston (is hwo i went to CA 2 weeks ago) for ~170 each way.

LOL duh *slaps herself in the head* does it help I was really tired and did not re-read the entry and therefor the info behind the link before thowing up a comment? Hahaha ...Guess I was all knitty gritty exited ;p Sadly this sort of trip is out of my price range at this point but wow does it sound like so much fun.
