Piano Technology

Called the North Bennett Street School today. Have appointment to tour/talk next Tuesday. I am going to try to talk them into letting me into the September program (applications were supposed to be in before April, but, "Later applications are considered on a space available basis,") assuming we can find a way to pay for it.

They are totally second on the list of training sites approved by the Piano Technicians Guild.

Let's see where this trail goes...!

Are you looking to be a piano technician? If you are, I recommend you talk to bleppo. She's an acquanintance of mine in the Boston area who's a professional Tuner.

I may ask you to teach me, if you get good at it. (Obviously I'd recompense you for such service...) Obviously my L337 tuning skills have failed me when it comes to this piano -- I've given up and am paying for it to be tuned. :/

Well there are two 9-month courses, so it'll be a while... but yeah, if I get my knowledge on, I'll absolutely share.
