what kind of mouse do you have? if you have a logitech, go to logitech.com and download the latest version of mouseware, which should make your mouse all nice and happy. other than that, I dunno; I'd try finding drivers for whatever mouse you have.

I have a Microsoft Intellimouse. I went to microsoft.com and downloaded their Intellipoint software which supposedly contains all of the mouse drivers, but the configuration window doesn't show the wheel as existing, and even though I told the program that I had an intellimouse with wheel while setting up, it has the "connected mouse" listed as a simple 2-button. I'm not sure what's going wrong. A conflict with the touchpad?
