the worst parts of being ill

So londo just left. He's been here since, um, Saturday the 19th. That's 11 days. It was very nice having him here, especially when I got sick. I get all sad and pathetic, and having someone to make me tea and soup and rub my back is wonderful.

However. ;) My apartment is not made to hold three people... and my room isn't made to hold two! I've only got one comfy chair and one computer... Leads to arguments over everyone's favorite timewasters. ;)

And then of course there's the housework. My room is incredibly stressfully cluttered, there's a couple weeks' worth of laundry to do, I need a shower+, there's about two months' worth of recycling to take out, and the sink and counters are full of dishes.

Oh, and then, in two days - Intercon. I'm supposed to bring lots of soup, which I don't even have the ingredients for(!), and be in these games, and help host a party half in my honor on Friday night, and I'm all sick and stressed about it... Blegh.

Anyone wanna come over and do laundry, dishes, and grocery shopping for me? I'll pay you in, um... love. And I can pay you in money in a week when I get some that doesn't go to rent.

I get first priority on the cleaning and stuff. I have a house and I had an organ removed. That trumps you just being sick. *grin*

Hm. I would come and do it for you (especially since nightskyre is gone for a couple of days), but the first day that I'd have enough time to go down there and back is Friday night... which would probably be too late, eh? (I'm working late tonight, and I'm a leader for our church's youth group, which meets Thursday nights.)

Let me know if there's anything I can do for you. Being sick sucks. Being sick and having chores to do sucks a lot more.

Completely vegetarian soup. I have the recipes down pat, it's just the shopping for them that I need help with. Well, and chopping all the veggies. Heh. Shopping and chopping.
