I remember when I worked at UCO I had to try and code a purchase order for four medical cadavers. And they didn't have a code. Closet I could get was lab specimen and that just didn't seem right.

FYI - They use assorted rabbits and rabbit parts for various things.

Generating a cache of monoclonal antibodies
Pregnancy tests, for another (tho that's *really* old school - ever see that M*A*S*H episode?)
(And probably most commonly) They use 'em for the USP test for the presence of pyrogens (fever-causing bugs).

Yes, I am aware of the fact that the stuff of rabbits is used for various scientific purposes... but it's still unfamiliar to me, and therefore I will find it odd.

Took it to my boss. She ended up making a new classification for cadavers. Odd we didn't have it to begin with because UCO has a mortuary school.
