Hello everyone,

I have only been inside Logan airport a few times. An internet friend of mine is flying in on Thursday morning to terminal B, and I'd like to be able to tell him to meet me in front of a particular storefront. I found this page via the Massport website, but I have no clue which (if any) of these stores are beyond security checkpoints and therefore inaccessible to me. Can anyone recommend a good meeting place I can tell my friend so we don't miss each other?

And no, he doesn't have a cell phone. :P

Er, there aren't much in the way of stores on the path people *leave* Logan by. That wouldn't be profitable.

The canonical way to meet someone at Logan is to tell them you'll meet them at the appropriate baggage check. You need to know their airline and flight number, then you go to "Terminal B *arriving*" and you'll be able to see on the monitor which baggage carosel that flight's luggage is going to. You meet them there.

Is on the non-safe side and easy to find because it's right next to a big mirror wall and a kids' store with toys and books. In that same corner you'll see a book store and a Staples. As you're standing there, you should hear (and even see) the ding-dong-ding of this huge kinetic sculpture thing, where balls go up and down slides and bells are set off (the twin is at the Museum of Science [I can't think of the name of it, but try www.mos.org])

Terminal B has two halves separated by a parking garage. So if you're on the wrong side, you'll never meet. :-) I think American dominates one side, and US Airways the other side.

As far as I'm know, that's pretty much the standard at any airport. If you know it well enough, you can stand by where they come out from behind security, but it's safest to just do the baggage claim thing.

Thanks, we decided to just do that :)

Very cool :)

But I think it's been agreed upon that these places aren't really where people -leave- by, they're for incoming traffic... So he and I are just meeting at the baggage claim :)
