Today was fairly eventful!

I was awakened from a very NICE dream (wink wink nudge nudge) by the alarm clock. Stupid alarm clock. I couldn't get the dream back. Eventually got up, went to the school.

Got my latest Hist. of English exam back, made an 83, which was the median and just higher than the mean (woo). About three of the questions were smack-head-how-could-I-have-missed-that kind. Which is too bad, because that would've brought me into A range (each question was 4 points). I have yet to calculate my current grade in the class, which is probably something I should do before deciding to skip the 20%-of-the-grade paper (a sacrifice that must be made for sanity and other-grades' sake).

After class Tim R. lent me his car to go get Pixel. However, it was then about 2:30 and they said I couldn't get her before 4. So I went to campus corner and ate a gyro at the Greek House, and then I went to visit the new piercing shop on campus corner. It's called Primal Art and it's owned by a fellow delivery driver, heh.

Well, it's been a year since I was last pierced. So I went ahead and got my right earlobe fixed (FINALLY!). I have been wanting to do that for 7 years. When I got my second holes done (outer holes) when I was 16, I had it done in Arden Fair Mall in Sacramento, and the stupid mall guy messed them up. The left lobe is fine, but on the right lobe the second hole was MUCH too close to the first hole. I have never been able to wear two studs in that ear - just a stud and a ring or two rings - because the studs wouldn't have room for each other. So, I had let it close up, and today I got the second hole re-done. 16 gauge, too (stretching out the other side). 10% off. I'm pleased. Just did my sea salt soak a few minutes ago.

Then I went to get Pixel from the vet. They told me how good she was, and how even though she wouldn't approach people, she would sit and enjoy the attention received if they approached her. Still, I think they got her confused with another cat. ;) But she was VERY happy to see me and nuzzled my hand through the door on her carrier. Brought her home, and she and Matrix ripped through the house for a while. It was happy to see them playing together. :)

Then I fell asleep... I only meant to take a little nap, but that turned into almost 4 hours. So perhaps Pixel used the bathroom during that time, but I don't know. And I'm supposed to watch her. Doh. When I left for work, I separated the two cats into two halves of the house, with a litterbox in each. Nothing from Pixel's box yet... sigh. I hope she isn't still sick...

Work was good. I made a decent amount. I also sat around for several hours afterwards just chatting with people there who also weren't going to sleep anytime soon. Had a good time. :)

And now I'm home, and ready for bed. Gotta get up at least by noon to clean up the kitchen for Tiffany.
