juldea: (cat hat)
I really like the song Fly by Moxy Früvous, but that doesn't mean I want to live it. Ever. Same for Do What You Have To Do by Sarah McLachlan.

Therefore, I got my ass in gear today. Tomorrow I'm working a convention at MIT from 7:00-12:30, then going to GVA at 1:30-5:30. Thursday and Friday are normal 1:30-5:30 work days at GVA unless I'm told otherwise, and then, next week, I start at PSG doing the GWP program. More hours, baby. More money. Yeah!

I am going to miss Monday and Friday of next week, however, for medical things. [livejournal.com profile] learnedax, [livejournal.com profile] tpau, [livejournal.com profile] laura47, [livejournal.com profile] etherial, or anyone else with a car and (as far as I know) no morning/afternoon commitments, are you available to give me a ride to the doctor's office? Monday's appointment is at 10am and shouldn't last very long at all, but I'll be completely free afterwards for the rest of the day for hanging and fun stuff. Friday's appointment is at 7 (ew, ew, ew, yuck) and is, well, outpatient surgery. It'll involve probably a few hours, and me being anesthetized and loopy afterwards. But also available for hanging out for the rest of the day and stuff! ...at least until Steer Roast in the evening (should I go to Steer Roast the same day as surgery? Hrmmmm... Something to ask about on Monday!)

As for tonight, there's this degree I need to finish up... and I'm in a good, productive mood. Will it last? Let's hope!
