I took my braids out last night. Half of my head of hair came off in the hairbrush or in the shower. ;) I ended up with this big, 80s-hair-band crimped-looking pouf of hair. Jason took a picture. :) Now it's been washed and looks pretty much like it always used to.

Now it is time to get ready for the day, eat breakfast, and go meet mudders!! :)

Oh, yeah, I might be coming home with a desktop system. ;) More details later.

I won my roller sneakers off of ebay! For only $10!! Well, plus shipping, but I doubt that shipping will cost $30+ and make them the price of the roller sneakers in the mall ;) So, yay! My first ebay winning!

Jason's roommate has the worst timing.

Today was the semi-mud party... we met a bunch of people at the fountain down the street at 11am... had lunch, talked a lot, went walking around Harvard Square, visited toy stores and the Discovery Channel store, sat in a park, etc etc, ended up at Chili's for dinner, and all came home. It was very nice, and they were all very nice people.

I think I've hit on what I want to do for next semester. One of my biggest worries is money, right? Having enough money for things I need (possibly some counselling and medicine) and things I want (Boston next summer, and trips to London, etc)... So here's my plan. I don't take classes, take the semester off, but stay in Norman, and get a third job. I know that Walmart would hire me back in a jif. I realized that as long as I still worked in the lab, I won't have to move out of my apartment (like this summer, I'll be moved from student to faculty/staff, not to non-student).

Something like this: Saxon M-F 8am-2pm, lab M-F 2:30-4:30 or 3-5 or 3:30-5:30, and Walmart M/R 6-10 or 6-12 and weekends something like... Saturdays any time before 6 (to give time for possible Gæa Spore shows) and Sunday anytime.

I -really- like this idea. And I think I can handle it. Certainly the most taxing of those jobs is the Walmart job, and it'd be the one I have the least hours at. I'd have time for band and dance, and I'd mud during work, and have Saturday nights always free... Sounds peachy.

Well, Jason and I have a movie to watch and snugglin' to get done (always!)... Catch you kids later!

Two more things to say:

#1... Where is Goldbug?! I want to see the "I'm back safe and sound" posts! Or at least someone who has seen her, post! I am far away and clueless!!

#2. Dear Starfruit,
There is a rather nice anime store in Harvard Square with a $45 bust of Ryoko, about 6" tall. Unfortunately my finances do not allow me to buy you a $45 present, but if you wish me to play courier with such an item, I can and will. Also, there are small $5 keychains of the more cartoony-looking versions of Tenchi and I believe Sasami... she looks like Ryoko only has red eyes, and all the other Tenchi stuff in the store showed that Sasami had red eyes and Ryoko did not. Otherwise, it's blue hair, some kind of robe wrap, and a sword. I truly did ponder this (one of the keychains) as a gift and would like input as to whether it is desired. :) They are about 2" long.

With love,
Juldea
