[time passes, I send him four entries for the contest]
me: Wait a second. Why are you collecting songs to give to an ex?
him: I was totally waiting for you to go there.
him: I didn't think you'd send me four first, though *g*
him: Um, someone suggested it as a contest and I thought it was interesting.
He got bonus points by mentioning this bit of dialogue, followed by the statement that I'm silly to imagine that he'd be dumb enough to dump me, on air. :)
