So, today I got an actual prescription for my Zoloft, right? No more silly trial packs. Goldbug, Karen, and I go to Walmart, and I make sure they take my insurance there, and give them the prescription. We do some shopping... I go to pick it up, and the guy tells me that the insurance didn't pick up that much of it, only about $20. So what's remaining? $197.

I told him I couldn't afford it, that I was sorry to trouble them, and left.

What do I do now? I was under the impression that the copay for medications was $15, but I guess not.

So I'm incredibly bummed over this. I had no idea it was so expensive - the whole time I worked at walmart, I never checked out a medication that was more than about $90. I thought medications usually cost about $30 or so.

Should I try and raise a fund? Everyone send me what money that can? I guess it doesn't change that it's $200/month.

I don't know what to do. I will call Dr. McNeil tomorrow.
