I'm back from my grandparents'. It was a trial as usual. The single really good thing was seeing my cousin, Josh, for the first time in about 10 years. He's 29 now, and from the little we were able to talk, probably the person in my family who could understand me the most. He was able to say, "I'm not a religious person," in front of my grandmother without her turning on him, I wonder how he accomplished that. Anyway, hopefully I will see more of him in the future. Visit him in Florida and all that.

on 9 Dec 2001 23:04 (UTC)People who are talked about being non-religious in front of my grandmother get all sorts of wonderful stereotypes and bigotry directed their way. I love how wiccans/pagans are all on drugs and exibit scary violent behavior.
I attempt at trying to talk down the stereotypes and bigotry, but not very well at producing myself as evidence. Someday...
