Why is it that even if I had really good socialization on a given night, if I hear about some other gathering that occurred that I wasn't invited to, I get sad and jealous?

Note: This counts things that I'm sure I couldn't make even if I was invited, like things happening in Waltham or Worcester on weeknights.

Because you're a human being. It's okay, I feel that way pretty much every day.

That happens to me pretty much constantly. Especially since a lot of the stuff I like to do seems to exist in the Boston area and not in New York, and it's not unusual to have critical mass of people I know talking about going to the same thing (ie 'Tis No Deceit).

So much sympathy, if no solution.

*HUGS* We're all human. Let me know if you have some free time sometime and want to hang out... we'll try to coordinate.

As for social jealousy... I know this well. :) I'm green about the singing larp, and I didn't even know about it until a couple weeks ago!

Rock the house this weekend for me, 'kay? :)
