just a regular ordinary day
Today I: woke up, ate breakfast, fiddled around on the internet, took down my french braid, knitted, flew a plane, and got a haircut.

goldbug, had you guessed correctly? :)
Details later. Right now: I flew this Cessna 172SP on a "Discovery Flight" at with Executive Flyers Aviation at Hanscom (regional airport in Bedford, MA). Boston looks just gorgeous from 3,000ft.
Oh, and just a trim. ;)

Did you know that the Beatles once flew into KBED before a concert at Boston Garden?

I did not know that! Interesting. It seemed pretty heavily used for a small civilian airport.

Hanscom's busy because T. F. Green and Manchester-Boston have picked up more commercial service so Hanscom caught a lot of their former general and business aviation traffic. Also, Hanscom Field's runways are used by adjacent Hanscom AFB.
(And man, I really should make an aviation icon. I meant to after the day I crapped trivia about aviation geekery in Las Vegas.)

I knew about the AFB and perhaps could've guessed about the general aviation traffic coming from PVD and MHT, due to the fact that I fly commercially out of those two airports more than I do out of Boston!
You inspired me to make an aviation icon first. :)

(Nifty about the Cessna. ;)

I'm serious, though, it was only a slight trim. There is still plenty to braid. :)
