Plans

I've noticed that when I write long journal entries, no one replies. Do you guys even read them?

The scholars office says that they can hold my tuition waiver if I ask, so that problem is taken care of.

Jim (my boss) thinks that it would be cool if Ty came back to work the help line for the 5 months I'm gone (if I go). I think that would work because I'm rather sure Ty wouldn't cling to the position and refuse to give it up when I came back. So maybe Ty should read this and think about it.

I woke up before my alarm today, at about 6:50 (alarm was set for 7:30), even though I went to bed near 2:00. I didn't even have anything important I needed to do, besides exercise! I guess I'm just full of energy these days.

I brought my CD walkman to work today and am listening to the Rent soundtrack while there are no calls. Not so loud that I can't hear the phone ring, though. Although I keep catching myself singing out loud and I wonder if other people hear me.

Saxon is going nazi and are going to start regulating piercings (none showing) and dress code (not sure what they're going to do here, but I'm sure it'll be something dumb). Sigh. Who sees me as I answer the phone?

I hope I'm being kissed and snuggled in 2 weeks.

I've noticed that too. I just figured it's because my longer entries are usually a bit wandering with some ranting going on. I haven't noticed that tendency with you.

Maybe people just read it, think "Well everything that needs to be said has been said and I would feel wrong posting something to such a masterful piece of prose."

Oooo... missed that last part. Who might see you on the phone? Why the corporate honcho's escorting possible investors and/or clients taking a tour of the facilities. And if their staff looks "out of the norm" why those investors and/or future clients might not put money into them.

As for the two weeks... don't we all?

So the investors and the head honchos regularly walk into people's offices, behind closed doors? To see the ever-so-important tutor?

You never know. Actually I was quoting verbatium from a manager I had once at a telemarketing firm. She gave me that answer when I asked why I had to wear a tie to work.

Oh... dumb.

I guess if I even think I'll be getting a temp job in Boston, I should pack a lot of dresses and slacks. Bah.

Just go for the business casual look. Not a lot of places go for all out dress up anymore. The ones that do you probably won't want to stay around that long anyway.

Yeah well my dresses and slacks are business casual... I have never owned a "business suit" or anything like that.
