So far..

I have been awake 2 times- 11-1 and now. Part of me still wants to crawl back into bed. I'm making myself eat something, even though I'm not hungry. Maybe I shouldn't, however, since getting sick is often a good way to lose weight. =P

I'm going to sit and watch episodes of Red Dwarf while I eat, then take a shower, and then see what comes next. Jason gets off work at 6 (central) so I'll probably want to be home then...

Oh yeah. Defragmenting my hard drives was pretty cool for my system, especially ICQ. Windows pop right up now, instead of slowly forming over 15 seconds.

heh being sick is good for losing weight, yes, but not eating seems like it would also be good for prolonging or worsening the sickness. don't want that, do you?

i am thinking of having thai food tonight. it's soooo expensive but i haven't been in over a month. besides, it's only half as expensive if i do it when nick's gone, right?

Sickly eating

Well, I ended up eating some pasta that my mom bought for me, so I didn't starve myself. It seems that I'm not hungry unless I actually think about food, which is good. That's the state I want to be in.

Hey, if you have the money, treat yourself. Have you thought about making your own thai?

yeah, we made basil chicken once. it was very very good but it took a long time to make... i need to do it again :)
and we technically have the money, but we are going to have a HUGE ASS phone bill this month from our internet service, so i'm trying not to spend a lot. nick and i are going on a date to the semi-nice italian place on base this week, but that's it.

Making your own thai

I bought some green curry paste and fish sauce and coconut milk from Pratt's and made my own green curry... it was super-delicious. The only thing I will change for next time is the amount of fish sauce I put in. The recipe called for 3 tablespoons, and the curry ended up being pretty damn hot... But if you guys find "thai kitchen" stuff in the commissary there, buy it! It's good stuff.
