non-chewable foods

[livejournal.com profile] sandrylene is very nice. She came over last night with yogurt and homemade soup she made - lentil and coconut milk, very thai-tasting, and involving absolutely no chewing. YAY.

This because, of course, chewing HURTS LIKE HELL. Sigh. I wonder when this pain will go away.

I also experimented this morning... turns out if you cut up apples and strawberries very finely and blend them, you get something of more of a smoothie consistency than applesauce, but it's still very good. Happily I still have another apple and more strawberries so I can have it again later.

There's leftover pizza in the fridge but I can't eat it. :(

what's really great is adding mango or papaya to it as well. Its really really good - if you want more of a smoothie texture, add a banana :)

Yes, but that would require leaving the house to acquire such luxuries... heh. Not ready for that yet.

Ooh, but I have some orange juice I can add.
