Women's-Only Parking Lot

With the high rate of attacks on women in secluded parking lots, especially during evening hours, the Minneapolis City Council has established a "Women Only" parking lot at the Mall of America.

Even the parking lot attendants are exclusively female so that a comfortable and safe environment is created for patrons. Below is the first picture available of this world-first women-only parking lot in Minnesota.




*giggle* Got this (from a female!) in my work email today. I found it amusing enough to share.

I didn't. *grin* Perhaps that's why I found it so amusing.

I'm often getting "how to avoid being raped in parking lot" emails from my female co-workers, so I was expecting something along the same lines... a group of smiling women around their cars, or something!

I looked at that and said, "Hey, that's Germany, not Minnesota!" Then I relaxed and got the joke. (note: longer thinner liscence plates and 2 Fiat Polski's, the smallest cars I've ever seen, mostly unheard of in North America)
