I sympathize on many levels, though I could probably have fun in the giant Christian book store...

My older sister loves Mardel. She keeps buying things from there for Laurel, which is a never-ending source of amusement for me. I keep hoping for the talking Veggie Tales stuffed cucumber because it looks like an adult toy to me.

We call Popeye's Chicken "danger chicken" because we were turning into our local store when the car was hit back in July.

One of the women who works for the company that does publicity for VeggieTales walked me to the Edwards Theater nearby. On the way, I produced the VeggiePhallus and, pretending I was all embarrassed about it, asked if anyone else had ever noticed it.

"Oh, that!" she said, throwing her head back and laughing. "Yeah, that came up early on, when we first started working with the company, but they didn’t want to do anything about it."

"So then people have noticed it before?" I asked.

"Yeah, but I think since they’re into the bible, they don’t want to bring it up."

Well, and Veggie Tales is (for the most part that I've seen) fun for non-Christians, too! :)

Thanks for the faq info - I obviously had no computer access for a while there and could only phone-post.

What I've noticed about the W '04 bumper stickers is they almost always seem to be the cars with the worst drivers (cutting people off, not paying attention, etc).
