China to censor text messages

Don't know if anyone else (besides [livejournal.com profile] goldbug, whom I stole it from) has posted this, but check it out:

So does that mean that the government is going to monitor ALL cell txt messages?

"Certain key words could trigger an automatic alert to the police."

So in a way, yes?

As censorship increases, language will mutate to route around it. 133t-speak alone increases the problem immensely, and that's just the tip of the iceberg.
