And which room did you take? ;)

Oh right, didn't tell you.

Let this be the answer: both rooms have windows facing north. The green room also has a window facing west, and the blue room east. Due to the earth's rotation, the blue room will have direct sunlight in the morning and the green room will have direct sunlight in the evening. I have a day job requiring me to be awake in the morning; you do not. I took the reasonable room. ;)

The only problem is that I just found out this morning that the door to your room has some problems closing. I'm going to check it out tonight and report it. Hard to keep the cats out if you can't close the door! ;)

Hah!

You have chosen my old room. It's blue now? Um, ok.
I hope you and your cats enjoy your new home.

Yep, light sky blue. :)

And thanks!

This is a post for the rest of you. I WAS gonna do a summary, but I don't feel up to doing a good enough job, so I'll summarize.

She's in her new apartment, just about to go to bed. Something about curtains gets mentioned, but I don't know what it is.

The cats are there, exploring, and they seem fine with it. They had problems with the car ride, but once they got there, they seemed fine.

She is, naturally, sad that she has to wake up tomorrow around 5, and though she says that she can make up for it tomorrow night (TGIF, and all that) expect her to be whiny in the morning.

Her back is mostly fine. She's figured out that it hurts the most when she's sitting down for a long time, and then gets up, but if she's standing or remaining otherwise straight, she's fine.

This prompted her to, when riding on the bus and T, to stay standing up, rather than sit down.

Moving went by fine. It was a pain to do, but she didn't serious injure herself in the process, and nothing really bad happened, and so...yeah.

Then she went to bed.

{EDITOR'S NOTE] She seemed tired and weary, but mostly good. I think it's a good sign. Plus, she's got a roommate that is willing to kill should problems arise. Or at least threaten.

Figures that the gay man skips the part about how I have to get undressed in a room full of street-facing windows without curtains. ;)

You probably want to get at least makeshift curtains up by tonight, unless you really want to be waking up with the sun on the weekend.

Well, right now I'm not sleeping in my room. My bed hasn't been set up yet. I'm sleeping in the, uh, little room (sewing room? TV room? computer room? hasn't been decided yet) on the couch. It has west-facing windows.

And I want to be up with the sun this weekend anyway...
