My dinner party post

Well I've slept a full 12 hours since the dinner party last night, 8 overnight and a 4 hour nap today. I guess that's what happens when you overstuff yourself with food and drink :)

I don't think that I would count last night's dinner party as the first where everything was edible, but certainly it had quite a bit of edible stuff. It was definitely the first completely vegetarian dinner party. I think it maybe could be described as the tamest dinner party, except for the habaneros and salsa :)

I am very proud of my macaroni and cheese salad. I can't stop eating it! I think next time I make it I will put less green peppers in it though, and it will be perfect. They seem to overpower the other stuff.

Today, aside from the nap, I have been very productive. I have cleaned the living room and the kitchen, and taken out a lot of trash, and recycled the big heap of stuff from the closet. Soon I will go to my mother's house to spend the night and do laundry and homework and install her new modem (*cross fingers*).

Props go to Amar for his mad backrubbing skillz. Out of 4 hours of watching movies, I probably got 3.75 hours of backrub/headrub/headscratch. And that didn't even involve me saying, "Ooh give me a really long forever massage," I think I just originally said that he could scratch my head and he just went at it and didn't stop. Dizamn.. :) That must be why he's a bass player... So now I think I might have to use my matchmaker skills on him (too bad I don't know as many great single women as I know single men, sigh).

I think I'm going to eat more macaroni salad now, and then go to my mom's house. I'll be back tomorrow...

(too bad I don't know as many great single women as I know single men, sigh).

Isn't that always the case?

I think you're great, but not necessarily that you're great for the particular single men I know.

Unless you WANT me to start hookin' you up...:)

i'm thinking i need to come hang out in norman more... not nessicarily to meet women, but to expand my very short list of friends... maybe even meeting a couple who are close to my age... ooo.. fear that

Norman is a very cool place to hang out (I say that meaning that one particular place in Norman is good for hanging out; the Happiness Hotel!) New people are always welcome. I don't know how many are your age though; mostly my age. Which isn't that bad.
