If it goes on your ass, it's not an asset!

Boy, I had an eventful morning at the dentist. I got 3 cavities drilled and filled! There were two on the upper right side of my mouth that didn't hurt at all, but the big one on the lower right side REALLY hurt - the needle stung and the tooth was super-sensitive while he was drilling. I was as numb as I could get, though, so there was little anyone could do. Oh, well.

I have my new backpack. It is beautiful and wonderul. It has a calculator pocket and a pens/pencils pocket and a CD player pocket and a Game Boy pocket and a schedule planner pocket! And a big books/computer pocket. I will try to get pictures of it. :)

I need to find some client for the Mac that lets me play with Excel spreadsheets so I don't have to use Brendan's computer to look at my budget. I'm going to look for one later today.

Hmm, almost time to take some aspirin for these teeth. yucky :(

Calculator pocket... My backpack has one of those that fits my calculator perfectly. But I haven't seen my calculator since we moved in here. I remember packing it, but I haven't a clue where... Oh, well.

My sympathy on the teeth. I have four I need to have pulled completely and you know I'm not looking forward to that.

I'm probably a little late on this but here's some bags you might want to look at (http://www.danadesign.com/packs/travelers/suit.htm#ti). They even have one of those laptop sleeves.

Yeah too late :) I already have my backpack, and my laptop sleeve is coming in the mail. ;)

Although if it doesn't fit (I checked the sizes and it should) I will check out that place.

how does it get to the point where they have to be pulled completely? that's something i never understood. are some people just more likely to have their teeth rot out of their head in their 20's than others?

hmm, that wasn't meant to sound so rude.

Well they are wisdom teeth. They could just cap and fill them (I have enough room in my mouth for them) but they are so hard to clean that they have cavities and the dentist is just saying yank them. And they can also get to the position to be pulled if you ignore a cavity long enough and it gets really bad.

And don't worry... it didn't sound rude to me.
