I am a loser.

God, I feel pathetic.

I sent an email to all of my friends who live close enough to come to Norman for a birthday party (if you didn't get an email, it's because I either didn't think of you (I did make this list at 2:30am), I don't have your email address, or I don't think you live close enough)...

Eight.

Now yeah, that number would be higher if I hadn't have flipped out a month ago. I realize this. But still, EIGHT! In all of Oklahoma and Texas.

I guess I should remember quality, not quantity. And I have some quality pals around :)

Heck, that'd be about the size of the list for me. And I like the idea for the home laser correction surgery. I'll have to get with Ryan on that... ~_^

Hey now :P If I threw a party next week, I think there MIGHT be four people there :P

Eight is a great number

Hey...I'd be thrilled to have 8 good friends close enough to turn up.

Unfortunately, with all my moving around etc, that's not going to happen :( And I don't make new friends too easily. There's that whole trust thing that I find hard to get into...

Well I've found that it's not that hard or bad to make friends that you aren't incredibly "deep" with... friends you don't have to trust. I mean, that takes a lot away from the relationship, but it still means people you can go have some fun with, y'know?

Well, if I were to have a party, I would probably invite 40 people, and only 5 would show up. And then I would be sad.

Now that I think about it, I don't think I would ever want to try to have a big party. I wouldn't trust very many people to actually show up.

Anyway, a small number is good. The eight or so people might also bring a friend or date or something.

Yes, friends and dates are invited :)
