a day for headaches

I get home from work... go to TJ Maxx to yell at them for charging me twice. They give me a LOT of grief. They wouldn't just look up my card in the computer, they wanted a bank statement showing them that I was charged twice. I think I spent 15 minutes arguing that I didn't need to bring in a bank statement when we could call the bank toll-free right there. They said that because the charges were for two different days, they couldn't do anything about it. *roll* They happened on the SAME day, it's just that debit purchases go in immediately while credit purchases take a day or two to process. ARGH.

Oh, what originally happened was I used my card as a debit card at first, but the saleslady told me there was an error and they couldn't reach the debit computer. So we ran it as credit (same card). It worked. I got a receipt for my credit transaction. Then a debit AND a credit show up on my online account info. =P

The amusing thing is, after all that arguing and being told I'd have to call people higher-up, I come home and my account info says "miscellaneous credit" for the exact amount. Either someone caught it, or the sales people complained about me to higher-ups who looked into it. Oh well.

I can get Depo at the local Planned Parenthood for $55 as long as they are able to see documents from my clinic in Norman that I do take it.

I spent 2 hours at the gym. Sex and the City was playing on one of the big TVs. I broke every single one of my weight-lifting goals so far.

As I got on the subway to come home, it started raining. By the time we reached my stop it was pouring. And cold. Where it was sunny at muggy-hot earlier. I was not dressed for the occasion. Now I'm wearing my bathrobe.

My rice is done, I think.

what's the big deal with sex and the city? i watched a few episodes, and it was okay, but not something i'd go out of my way to see again. why does everybody seem to like it so much?

Er, I just mentioned it because I had never seen it before and it was showing on one of the TVs. I don't think I'd buy the series, or even rent it, but it was alright to watch. Better than soap operas or MTV.

well, i definitely agree with you there.

on a completely unrelated note, i keep thinking "oh, i'm going to have to get/do this with julia when i'm in norman!" and then being sad.
