I got lost coming home. I ended up somewhere in Lexington, MA. I want to be in Brighton, MA. If you look at this map, Brighton is the star. You can see how far away Lexington is.

God damn this stupid town and it's fucking cow paths without readable street signs. Damn the big dig and it's detours to everywhere. I took a wrong turn and there was no way to turn back the other way and soon I was completely lost and 45 minutes out of my way. I found a major street but no clue which way I was supposed to go on it. I called Jason but somehow he couldn't work Mapquest to tell me where I was. I gave him addresses, cross streets, and even mentioned the "Welcome to Arlington" sign and still he couldn't tell me where I was. Finally I just turned around and headed the other way, and after a fucking 45 minutes or so I found myself crossing the Charles River into Boston. Driving in this town is completely shitty and I'm buying a subway pass today.

Say what you will about Oklahoma but the streets are at least laid out in something resembling a grid.

All the other commuters sympathize with you. :p

Boston's streets are made for farm animals, not cars, and "quaint" means frustrating. :P

It sure didn't seem like they were sympathizing when they were honking incessantly at me :(

Are you looking to meet some neat people in Boston? I could introduce you to a couple of my friends there. They're even good at driving around the city.

Well, I do already know some neat people... and I think I'd feel weird meeting your friends without knowing them first. I'd feel weird meeting ANYONE without knowing them first.

Although if they are online people or livejournal people, I wouldn't mind having ways to contact them, so that if we did get friendly we could meet. :)
