I guess I've just felt like having company today.

I asked Brendan to walk home with me from the lab, even though I had to take him right back when we got home. I wanted him to come to pick up my laptop floppy drive with me, but he had class.

I have a $20 gift certificate for Sooner Mall (my birthday present from Saxon Publishers!!) and want to go spend it tonight, but no one (at least karen and goldbug, my shopping partners) is around.

I'm moving files from my laptop over to Sid (my desktop - short for Obsidian) and it's quite boring. And sleepy. And hungry.

Do you mean dangerous because it sounds all dark and bad-boy, or is there another reason it's dangerous?

That sounds like it should ring a bell, but it doesn't...

Robert thought you'd think it's dangerous because Sid is a shortened form of acid.
