bellydance with Amira Jamal

I contacted Amira Jamal via email about possibly joining her bellydance classes in Boston at BU. The classes are a block away from a bus that comes from work, and since they're on the B line, I can use my bus pass to hop on the trolley afterwards to take the T home. Yay.

The only issues I had were about never having been there before, and the price of classes. It's true that I could attend all FOUR of her classes (2 on Monday, 2 on Tuesday) for a full session (until approx. May 9) for only $125... Or three of them (2 Mon, 1 Tue) for $75... Because by attending the two higher-level classes, I get free attendance at the lower-level ones as long as I'm willing to "TA." Which I totally am, and I could use the workout/shape up. Actually, let me copy this information over to get my brain in order:

Level I: Tuesdays: 7:00-8:00 PM - Session 2: March 22, 2005 - May 3, 2005 - This class only $105
Level II: Tuesdays: 8:00-9:00 PM - Session 2: March 22, 2005-May 3, 2005 - This class only $105
Level I and Level II together $175

Level III: Mondays: 7:00-8:00 PM - Session 2: April 4, 2005-May 9, 2005 - This class only $75 + free attendance at Level I,II
Level IV: Mondays: 8:00-9:00 PM - Session 2: April 4, 2005-May 9, 2005 - This class only $75 + free attendance at Level I,II
Level III and Level IV together $125 + free attendance at Level I,II

ANY CLASS: Drop-in rate: $20 per class or $35 for a full evening.

So, I am confused. The sessions for levels I/II aren't the same as levels III/IV, so - during what periods of time can I come to I/II for free? If I join III/IV, I won't have started yet at the end of March, but there are I/II classes going on then I could attend... for how much?

Also, in email she said that she had to "push back the start of the new session to March 15th"... but isn't that pushing it forward? Or maybe her website is confused? Or I am? Either way, I won't be making it tomorrow...

Anyway. I think those drop-in rates are exorbitant, but she said that if I decide to stay and pay for a session, I can apply the cost of the drop-in towards my session. Yay!

I guess it's time to reply to her email with my confusion. Whee...
