Uh oh, I shouldn't be up this late. Bad for the sleeping schedule. Oh well =P

I finally got some pictures put up after the extended absence of my computer. Included are: the long-awaited picture of my new navel jewelry, some cat photos (of course), and pictures of another new friend at my house. ;)

Also, I have put up the pictures from JUNE's dinner party. They're in no particular order. Actually... they're in alphabetical order. I just noticed.

So, Excel is pretty nifty-handy and helped me figure out a few things. First off, I'm using it to budget, which is good. My "$70-a-week" weeks start on Saturdays and last until Fridays, and guess what... I've already spent ~$27 more than the $70 I set aside for this week. For those curious, it was $40 at Walmart, $20 for gas, $10 at Pratt's, and $20 at Albertsons. Then some extraneous stuff. The good news is, my fridge is stocked. :) No eating out this week... I'm trying to decide if I should dock that $27 from next week's budget since most of the food will last until then as well (and things like cat litter and paper towels) or if I should just write it off and let myself have a new $70 next week. The first option teaches me to spend more wisely...

Secondly, Excel took in the 2+ months of weight data I have been keeping track of and made me a nice little line of best fit to estimate for me when I'd reach certain goals. :) For those who care: the equation is y = -.17x + 158.81. The x value is number of days since I began keeping track, with May 27th being day 1. I'm on day 78 right now. :) I'm losing approx. 5 pounds a month, which is nice and healthy. I started at 159.5, and I'll reach 140 around September 13th (110 days) and 135 around October 13th (140 days). That's as far as I plan to go. However, theoretically I could reach 100 pounds (assuming the weight loss would always be linear, ha... at that point my body would revolt because I would be losing vital organs) after 346 days... May 7th of next year. ;)

Oh, also, Brendan's wish list gave me the idea of making my own, just to have it. My birthday is already past this year, and Christmas isn't until far away, but it seems like a good idea to have a constant place to put things you want - for your reminder as much as reminding people who tend to buy gifts for you. I haven't made mine up yet, but it will probably be here.

Ok, enough ranting. Time to let myself and my computer sleep. Hopefully the kitties will calm down, too. =P

So, the school-year rush is in. Last week I had an average of 7.5 calls/day. Today I took 17 calls. BLEGH. I guess it's going to start being less gxp time while I'm at work. Well, that's okay.

I had a pretty busy weekend. On Friday night, Randen and I went out to dinner, watched 2 episodes of the X-Files, and saw the movie The Princess Diaries, which I liked because it gave me what I expected of it. Story about a 15 year old nobody who finds out she's the princess of a small European country. Wackiness ensues.

Well, while dressing for the movie theater (i.e. changing out of shorts) I came across the realization that only one pair of jeans really fit me anymore, and that was the pair I had gotten from my mom. So after the movie when I was home alone I got a copy of the Norman paper with classifieds in it, circled all the garage sales I was interested in (about 15), and using thumbtacks I made a route on my map of Norman of the sale-ing I would do the next morning. I even color-coded my tacks - white tacks were for sales that started at 7, red for starting at 8, etc. Yeah I'm a nerd.

So from 7-12am on Saturday I drove around norman and looked through people's stuff. I got 2 pairs of jeans, a pair of khakis, 2 pairs of shorts, a purple satin dress shirt, and a nifty 9-candle votive sculpture thingy for $11. Then I went to two consignment stores, Abigail's Attic and The Spare Closet, and got 2 more pairs of jeans for $6.50. So I came out pretty well. They're almost all size 10s. :)

Had a really nice cookout at Arcadia Lake that night with my Edmond friends, Brian and Ryan (snicker). Brian brought his girlfriend Mary Beth and a friend of hers named Joey. We made a fire and had some hot dogs and hamburgers and stuff and shot the breeze and even went swimming a bit (well I only waded because I didn't bring a bathing suit). It was really nice, and we should do it more often. Since I was up so far north I dropped by my mom's on the way back. I always seem to leave her house with stuff - this time I came back with a glass thermometer (some test to find out if I'm hyper-thyroid, involving taking my temperature in the mornings right when I wake up), some icy-hot type stuff (for my leg), and a few exercise videos! She had picked them up for $.50 each somewhere. They're badass - Thighs of Steel 2000 Platinum (I did that one Sunday morning, and OUCH), and Cindy Crawford's Ultimate Workout, which I haven't done yet. It looks scary. Anyway, it was nice talking to my mom. She talks to me like an equal sometimes, whee.

Then yesterday I did that Thighs of Steel, putzed around a bit (gathered up all the things I'm going to sell at the Happiness Hotel yard sale, and boy did that pile grow. Fills the hallway almost.), and went to the Hotel for a dinner party - a grill dinner party! It involved a massive Albertson's run, and a lot of heat and bugs. But it was fun and there was SO much good food. I had to stop eating for fear of getting sick because I had eaten so much. I finished my portabello mushroom burger though. ;) That was my favorite food of the whole night. The grilled pineapple was pretty good too though. I fell asleep as soon as I got home :)

All the computers in the lab are wiped clean now. Formatted. It's kind of sad. Tomorrow I get to start setting up the new computers! It will be exciting. So that's why I won't be around.

Well, I guess it's time to go home now. See everyone tomorrow!

I'm wearing pants I've never fit into before! Hooray! I know because I got them from my mom about a month ago (or whenever it was that I went down there) as "pants that I hopefully will be able to fit into soon" and today after trying on 3 different pairs of my own jeans, I pulled these on and they zipped up! They're tight, but they're wearable. They used to belong to my sister's friend Alisha (Elisha?). They're Gap jeans of size W31 L28, easy fit (I guess that's why my butt fits in 'em). So no, I'm not wearing my MOM's jeans (size 2-4)... I'm not sure what size these would compare to, all I care about is they used to be unwearable and aren't now. Yay for goals!

Also yay for finding lost pictures! When the gamesluts.org server was taken down, I thought I had lost all of my 2000 OMP pictures forever. However, today when moving all of my valuables from the lab computers onto the OU server, I found the file of those pictures! There were 90 pics and believe me. I jumped for joy when I found them. They're not lost!

Um, and it's Friday, and I'm going to eat thai food and see The Princess Diaries with Randen tonight, and tomorrow is a cookout, and Sunday is a dinner party. What a busy weekend!

Jason was whining at me earlier to update my journal because he was suffering from a lack of reading material. I couldn't at the time since Randen and Brian and I were watching a movie, but here goes. I don't have a specific topic to talk about, but I'll just rant for a bit.

I spent a good portion of this afternoon training myself to do a backbend. You know, where you start off standing up, and you lean over backwards until your hands hit the floor and you're doing a backbend. I always wanted to be able to do that, since I was little, but I never got up the courage to try it. I think I'm very proud of the methods I used today to get myself to do one. I started off by trying to do a few just on the spot, but I found that once my head was upside-down the idea of just FALLING backwards really scared me. So I piled up my beanbag, purple chair pillow, and two bed pillows in a tower on the floor and practiced leaning over and falling on them a few times. That was fine, so I started practicing catching myself with my hands and immediately dropping myself back onto the pillows. When that was done, I started just catching myself with my hands. My body would still hit the pillows, because they were so high, but I was catching myself! So then I slowly took the pillows away, one by one, until I was just doing backbends over the little chair pillow, and then bare on the floor. And I did it! Yay!

Matrix was oblivious to my quest. She wanted to lay on/around the pillows. One time she walked over right as I was falling backwards and I almost thought my hand would hit her and not the floor and injure both of us. Luckily that didn't happen.

So my next goal is to be able to go from the backbend and kick my legs over and stand up. It sounds simple, but it's just daunting. If I thought that getting drunk would only hinder my fear, I'd try it then, but I don't think I'd be in prime physical condition at that time either ;)

My skin is coming off of my body in huge chunks. That's what I get for getting burnt. It itches a lot, but when I scratch it, all my skin peels off. It's rather disturbing. I wish I could scrub it all off.

Matrix curled up next to Brian in his beanbag today while we were watching movies. I took a picture; I'll post it soon. It was very very cute.

My diet is going well. I'm already down to 155.5, at least according to the scale this morning! I started off at 158.5. I'm averaging about 1400 calories a day, never under 1200. I'm not sure how much I had a thai kum koon the other night, but that's okay. Sometimes you don't have to count. ;) And I've even been able to have fast food on some days; I had LJS a few days ago when I got a coupon in the paper, and Arby's tonight with Randen and Brian. It's just all about planning.

My energy level is skyrocketing, too. I'm wondering if I could start doing an exercise video EVERY morning, not just every other morning. I know that I did one this morning and I want to get up in the morning and do the next one. Maybe that's just because it's the 'hip hop' aerobics video and it's so much fun. It's got a pretty fast pace, but I've done it once now and so have a slight edge.

I don't think I have much more to say. I miss everyone who is gone! Goldbug and Rachel and Karen! Maybe someday I will have a fun adventure in a far-off land.

Oh! the OMP is this weekend! I am very excited... I need to start thinking about what I'm going to pack/wear/etc. And when I am going to dye my hair and do laundry (both on wed. night?). And I need to mend my dance costume and figure out what I am going to dance to (IF I dance). So many things to think about!!

And I am going to room with Corch! And Samar, who I actually don't know the gender of. I'm fairly certain the character is female, but that doesn't mean anything about the player. ;) So anyway, gotta pack the granny nightgowns, grin. Or maybe I'll just do the t-shirt and boxers thing.

Which reminds me of ANOTHER thing... gonna Nads again soon. The hair that wasn't long enough the first two times is now long enough. I wonder if it'll work weirdly on flaky skin? Maybe I'll have to scrub before I do it.

Anyway, it's late and it's bedtime. See everyone in the morning!

I was very very productive today. I woke up, got dressed, and went to Walmart to buy some more aloe. Then I came home and did my new workout video. It's rough, but a lot of fun. Then I showered and ate breakfast. Then... the cleaning. Washed dishes. Cleaned litterbox. Vacuumed the rug. Swept the entire apartment. Cleaned the stove. Took everything (even the microwave) off of the kitchen counters and cleaned them. Cleaned the microwave, too. Cleaned the kitchen sink (mmm bleach). Finally organized the bathroom cabinets (3 bags of give-away stuff now, mostly going to the happiness hotel). Filed some papers. Sent a page to my father's cell phone. Complained to half.com that my CD hasn't arrived in the mail yet. Put the money I need to save to pay for my room at the OMP in a sealed labeled envelope. Got Brendan's linear algebra book for class tomorrow (meep). Translated some Latin and wrote a short thing for the mud. Made an alternate livejournal for mud people to look at (don't want them seeing all the intimate details of my life). Bleached my hair again. :)

Now it's time to start worrying about tomorrow. Class from 9:30-10:20. Work at Saxon from 10:45-4:45 and work at the lab from 5:00-9:00. I'm not sure where food fits into all that. I have some cheesy hashed brown hamburger helper in tupperware I can take to the lab, but not a very balanced meal. Maybe I should cook a full meal right now, and pack it all up for tomorrow. I have $77 until the 22nd this month, and that includes the OMP, so I can't buy anything. I can't go for a $.69 bean burrito, or a $2 Subway sandwich. I'm living on what I own.

Well, I just took a hiatus from this writing and made tomorrow's dinner. Cheesy hashed browns, applesauce, veggie soup, potato sticks, and cranberry juice. I guess this will be a nightly thing, making tomorrow's food. Sounds like I'm going to get very routine-ized.

Well, probably time to get to bed. See you all tomorrow, after school!

As it is the last Friday night before summer school, I did my duty and drank ;) Not much, though. Alcohol has lots of calories, and I'm countin'. However, it's good because since I eat less, I have an emptier stomach, and so less alcohol is needed to affect me! woo!

Then I watched Clueless. It's one of my guilty pleasures. I love that movie. The end makes me teary every time. I need more romantic life-changing moments in my life!

Well it's time for bed now. I bought another workout video today, and I'm going to try it tomorrow night. So my schedule will be M morn, W morn, F morn, S night... all evened out. I'm having fun! Except my abs hurt.

I guess I should be counting money instead of calories. I have about $80 for the next 3 weeks... and that includes the official mud party. Erk.

I woke up this morning (er, yesterday morning, whatever) BEFORE my alarm clock, which was pretty amazing because the storm kept me up until 3am. I woke up at 8:40, feeling great, and drank a big glass of water before exercising with Kathy! After I got all sweaty and gross (I REALLY need to vacuum the rug) I took a nice cool shower and came out feeling very good. Went to work, made it through the day, came home, mudded, ate some food, cleaned the litterbox and the toilet, and worked some on my sewing projects, and now it's time for bed. :)

I went to the bathroom 8 times in my 6 hours at work. I have the teeniest bladder EVER! That was just my slimfast shake, a glass of water, a glass of iced tea, and a dr. pepper. Every 45 minutes! It's crazy.

Now it's time for me to get my requisite 8 hours of sleep. Nitenite!

I weigh 160.

I've decided that I'll use my long work days to my advantage. I'm not going anorexic or anything, but since I simply don't have any place to fit in a lunch, I won't. I'll have my shake and vitamins in the morning, and then dinner at night. I don't need that many calories since I'm not burning any during the day while sitting on my ass...

I think I'll exercise, too. I have exercise videos... Do you think I can get my sorry ass out of bed on M/W/F mornings to alternate between the 3? Hmm...

Someday my stomach will realize that all it gets in the morning is a shake and some vitamins, and it has to wait until a proper lunchtime to get anything else. Right now, it's still under the delusion that if it grumbles enough, I'll feed it. I must be strong.

So I got to work early today, since I just came here straight after my shot. That'll make up for Monday when I overslept a bit. Waking up at 8 wasn't that diffcult, actually. Maybe that had something to do with Big Karen (the parkview manager) calling to wake me up. Heh.

Oh, and I did a mean thing to Matrix. I had the entire house open all night (I knew I couldn't stand it to lock either or both of them out of my room while I slept, they'd make sad noises), so this morning I tempted her with food out into the living room and then jumped up and shut the hall door. She made such SAD noises, but she's gotta learn to stand her own ground against Morrison.

So, back to mudding, and waiting 2 hours to eat my delicious subway sandwich.
